I am such a huge fan of Estèe Lauder and I love that their foundation shades have been specifically created for and tested on South African skins to ensure even and perfect cover. Below I share techniques on how to achieve flawless coverage using (in my opinion) the best and perfect foundation. 1. Prep your skin first. Because the foundation doesn't have a pump, put a little bit of the foundation on the back of your hand. Using a foundation brush, apply foundation starting at the centre of your face (your nose), blending outwards onto the rest of your face. 2. Pat the Estèe Lauder Double Wear concealer on the under-eye area and blend it with a concealer brush to brighten the area. Concealing dark circles makes eyes appear more open and awake. Dot the concealer on the inner and outer corners of your eyes and on your brow bones to give your eyes a lift. 3. Dip a powder brush into loose or compact powder, brush off any excess, and roll the brush in a number 3 form on one side of your face. Do the same on the other side. Repeat the process for a more matte finish. Setting foundation with powder is important to ensure it does not move, especially for people with oily skin. Estèe Lauder Double Wear foundation is a mattifying foundation, which is great for anyone with oily skin. The foundation on its own is amazing. It gives you full coverage, lasts 24 hours and covers any imperfections. If you have dry skin and don't want the matte look, you can benefit by mixing your foundation with the Estèe Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum for a more dewy look. This foundation is my holy grail and you absolutely will not regret it when you purchase it. It is on the pricey side so make sure you get properly swatched in store first and always keep your undertone in mind before purchasing foundation.
